Our Doctor

Dr. Eric Wang was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston in 2015. Driven by a passion for helping others see their best, he went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2019.

Following graduation, Dr. Wang obtained his Therapeutic Optometric License from the Texas Board of Optometry, as well as his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification. His clinical training included externships at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, where he managed a wide variety of ocular diseases and gained valuable experience in advanced contact lens fittings and myopia control. He also completed a rotation at Golden Eye Clinic in Center, Texas, where he provided care for a rural population, performing corneal foreign body removals, minor surgical procedures, and managing complex ocular conditions.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Wang enjoys staying active through tennis, badminton, basketball, and billiards. He lives in Texas with his wife and their daughter, and he values time spent with his family just as much as caring for the vision of his patients.
